Frequently when sharing low-level information with 3rd parties outside of staff, councils have requested the ability to protect the information from general access.
Public Platform has just added the ability to password protect individual published pages. By simply adding the page URL to the Protected Pages screen, you can set a password for it.
From the same page you can also send dispatch emails notifying recipients of the page and its password.
This allows you to wall off parts of the site that aren't for general consumption but don't contain critical secure information, sparing you from having to create user accounts for everyone who needs to view it.
